Privacy, the short version
We don't use Google Analytics, Meta pixels, Hotjar or any other third-party trackers. The site is built with JavaScript, Python and a few other code lingos, though, and some of the libraries we use might keep a "number of downloads" on us and phone home. Sorry about that.
You are not the product.
Cookies
We only set a few tiny first-party cookies. Nothing from anyone else. However, due to new functions we might delete or change any of these cookies.

idun_auth(2 hours, renewed while you're active) andidun_refresh(7 days, or 30 if you tick "remember me"). Only set if you log in.Small UI choices: like whether you folded away an intro box, 1 year
A few things live only in your own browser's storage: dark/light mode, list or grid view, an unsaved kayak design, whether you've seen the legal notice, and a counter of how many articles you've read, so we know when to nag you about creating an account.
You can delete or block all of it in your browser settings. The site still works (logging in won't, obviously).
Our promises
We never sell or share your data.
Passwords are hashed. We can't read them even if we wanted to.
Everything runs on our own VPS hosting in the EU.
The clicks, we do count
We do register some clicks, in a closed loop on our own server. When you're in a session, each page you visit counts once, no matter how many times you open it. A like/heart also counts only once. Why bother? We know you're shy.
